En manière d'introduction
Ce travail est une protestation contre la soumission à la machine, au design industriel,plus généralement à l'assignation d'une fonction rigide aux choses, aux végétaux, aux animaux et aux personnes. Résultant de process à l'opposé de la manufacture ( chêne taillé à la hache ou à la tronçonneuse, silicones étalés au rouleau ), les œuvres en témoignent où la lumière prend le relais du discours. La proximité s'établit avec le bois, le silicone que l'on désire et doit toucher, avec les animaux qui sont souvent à la source de la représentation, avec le végétal qui dans sa profusion émet des signes qui ordonnent notre vision. This artwork is a protest against our submission to machines, industrial design, and more broadly against assigning a rigid function to things, animals vegetals and humans. The end results of a creative process rather than an industrial production (oak cut with an ax or a chain saw, silicone spread with a rolling pin), the works are a testament to this as light gives way to discourse. A closeness establishes itself with the wood, with the silicone that one desires to and must touch, with the animals that are often the origin of the representation and with vegetal's profusion sending messages to our brain,
